Tourism Sustainable Ecotourism Rural Tourism Hotel
The International Fair of Tourism - Map of the World, in Porte de Versailles , Paris, was conducted between March 26 and March 31, 2010. This international tourism fair hosted over 100,000 visitors last year, which represents an increase of more than 8% of visitors over 2009. This strong increase shows the growing interest from individuals and professionals to travel agencies in new modes of tourism: responsible tourism, adventure, etc.
Mass tourism appeared during the 60s with the emergence of because of paid vacations in many industrialized countries; this form of tourism has allowed a lot of people from all social classes to travel and support the economic sector of tourism.
Sustainable tourism is a direct emanation of sustainable development. This new vision of tourism is born of awareness about the negative impact of mass tourism on the environment and local populations. In sustainable tourism, we define 2 different forms of tourism: fair tourism and ecotourism.

The touristic attractiveness of these areas depends on the quality of their very fragile ecosystems: rainforests, mangroves, coral reefs, lagoons . all these environments that found the cultural identities of overseas territories. These departments have to develop ecotourism, a form of tourism adapted to the reasoned development of resources, more and more requested by visitors looking for contact with nature. [...]

[...] Travelers can pay a lot for an eco-‐tour in Asia or in South America and the activities are not helping so much the population: travelers only visit typical villages and go back to their western hotel at the end of the day. Travelers have to be very careful when they want to it may be more interesting to organize the trip by themselves. We can see also in some regions, like in Vietnam, that mass tourism is still relevant: the demand for this country is increasing more and more with the Chinese tourists. This sector is an example of a changing business world, where minds are changing for a better world: green and equal.
