The United States of Africa is a project that has been raising issues for decades. Indeed, many international actors, activists groups, countries and other companies are concerned about the unity of an African people formed as a strong and powerful continent. It is true that many key topics are addressed by this union at an International level but also at a regional one. Geopolitics, Economy, Health, Finance, Military, Raw material and many others are deeply concerned and will consequently deeply mutate from this new organization. Regarding the interests of the different actors that play a part in Africa, opinions are shared. Some sees it as a threat and others as a huge opportunity. [...] To unify Africa will be quite difficult if human rights, democratic governance, large education, property rights and free market rules are not respected. -Examples of political conflicts: Today, there are numerous examples of conflicts in Africa. There are several hot spots in Africa and other potential. If we look at the source of those tensions, they have all the same origin: the unconstitutional changes. In fact, most of the African constitutions are unsuited to Africa. In Mali, episodes of severe reactions to the “Touareg” rebellion alternated with attempts to promote negotiations to resolve the crisis. [...]
[...] In fact, traditional beliefs make unique each ethnic group throughout the African society. Beside the religions problems, as a result of the recent colonialism, the African population speaks different languages and dialects spoken in Africa are barriers to the creation of the United States of Africa. It's very hard for the African country to communicate to each other because in Africa, people speak Arabic, English, French, Portuguese or other African languages. That's why it would be very difficult to choose an African language rather than another In Practice, translation of documents of the AU is made into the four current “working” languages. [...]
