More precisely, it allows to explore working conditions in UE in order to detect abnormal situations, identify workers concerned, and promote a quality work life. [...] Decompose the methodology of the Fifth EWCS The aim of the Fifht-European-Working-Conditions-Survey (EWCS) published in 2012, was to explore the characteristics of work in UE. This survey was conducted on a 44.000 workers sample, in 34 countries, between january and june 2010. Qualitative and quantitative methods were combined. As a mater of fact, workers were interviewed at home. The questionnaire consisted of 120 items assessing : organisational changes, working time, physical and psychosocial risks factors, and work organisation in Europe. [...]
