[...] But it is necessary to know that the nuclear energy, although often debated, in beneficial contributions at the economic but also social level ( B ) as at the environmental level ( A That is why he(it) is interesting to take into account these positive aspects before analyzing his(its) negative aspects; to be made a complete and concrete idea on the subject. A. The environmental impact of the nuclear power At first sight, we would think that the nuclear power is fatal for the environment. It is at least that want to remind us the environmental lobbies (Green Peace etc.) and the ecology. However it is necessary to note all the same not to lose sight, that the nuclear energy remains beneficial for the environment. [...]
[...] As for the dangers of the waste and the accidents they remain potential. If we look closer at the coal, he(it) kills several thousand minors(miners) a year in China. Finally, and to end, if we compare the impact of the nuclear energy on the economy and on the companies(societies) with the impact of the classic power plants of coal, the dangers and the costs are lesser as regards the nuclear power. The dangers of the nuclear power are only potential. [...]
[...] the nuclear energy contributions It is in 1938 when the first nuclear experiment is realized. At the beginning of the fifties, some of the major powers developed programs of searches(researches) consequent for the construction of commercial nuclear power plants. In the United Kingdom, on the site of Sellafield (Northwest of England), we see appearing the first Calder Hall nuclear power plant. Connected to the electricity network national, she(it) produces commercially some electricity. In 2001, Tony Blair then Prime Minister, announces a revision of the British energy policy. [...]
[...] In what? First of all, the nuclear energy is a clean energy. Indeed, if we take a power plant in the coal for example, she(it) would have thrown back(rejected) to equal quantity tons of ashes In the atmosphere namely million tons of CO2. We could thus end from it if we took into account only this aspect this things, if the nuclear energy is a solution of an ecological point of view, in the threat of the global warming by the greenhouse effect. [...]
[...] The economic and social impact of the nuclear power No doubt, we can assert that the nuclear energy in an impact on companies(societies) but also on economy of countries. This impact can be considered as a real contribution. In particular as regards the economic domain. Indeed The nuclear energy is thrifty. On July 8th Doel 1 and Doel two Belgian nuclear power plants in functioning, supplied their hundredth billion kilowatts-hours to the national network after 18 years of functioning. It represents 363 tons of nuclear fuel, namely 36 m3. [...]
