Denmark is the greenest power in the world. That is to say that they are leaders in renewable energies market, but they are also opinion leader. In fact, a great part of the population is favorable to renewable energies and doesn't care if a wind farm is erected next to their home. That typical northern countries mentality is a part of the reason of Denmark's success; however, there are other reasons that can explain this incredible domination.
[...] Thanks to that development, it became the first renewable energy for domestic use. At the same time, solar panels were discovered and were spread all around Denmark. They were primarily used in order to warm domestic water, combined with electric warmer in case of bad weather, but as soon as photovoltaic solar panels have been developed, Danish people started to install them on their roof. However, solar panels are the less efficient renewable energies in Denmark, due to the poor sunshine on their territory. [...]

[...] Today's policy is still more important than in any other country in the world, but renewable energy market has been more and more attributed to big companies, unlike what was done in the 50's with local collectivities that were developing their own system, and who were profiting of costs reduction. We can divide renewable energies strategies in Denmark into 2 parts.
