George Best was born on the 22nd May 1946, in Belfast. He was a Northern Ireland International football player. He was married twice with Angela Douglas-James who died in 1986 and with Alex Pusey who too died in 2004. He had one son, Calum, with Angela. He was one of Manchester United's best players. He played for Manchester between 1963-1974. He was 17 years old when he started playing for a professional team.

[...] Best's funeral was the largest that Northern Ireland had ever seen. His body left the family home at Cregagh Road, in East Belfast, shortly after 10am on Saturday, the 3rd December. There were 100,000 people lined up from Best's family doorstep up to the Grand Hall and there were 25,000 spectators inside the grounds of Stormont, making an audience of 125,000 people standing in the rain taking part in his funeral.
