Myths, heroes, ideal of society, society, UNICEF
The notion I'm going to talk about is Myths and heroes. A myth can be defined as a popular belief embodying the ideals of a society. From a myth births a hero which is a superhuman known by his fabulous deeds. But nowadays, a modern hero can also be an anonymous person admired for his noble qualities and good deeds. To illustrate this notion, I studied the myths of American dream and Thanksgiving but also the athletes of Paralympic games like Oscar Pistorius.

Politicians also can change the world's history as Barack Obama did by being the first Black American president. So by standing for their rights, those emblems have succeeded to make people realize about their situation and they made things changed. So I think that my examples show that a hero is known by his deeds before being famous. There are also the humanitarian organizations like UNICEF which are indispensable in this world filled by inequalities. What's more “Superheroes anonymous” in an organization created in 2007 in New York with real life superheroes whose aim is to turn the world into a better one through education and community services. To conclude, having heroes in our society is really important because they enable us to follow a goal or to make things changes in our lives. [...]
