I'm going to talk about the notion called "Locations and forms of power". First of all, I would like to define the notion: To my mind power means that a person, a group or a nation has influence or control over others. There are lots of forms of power in the world. Among all of these, I chose to talk about guns. Indeed, gun ownership is a huge controversial debate especially in the USA. Some are in favor of fire arms; some others denounce the severity of the matter of gun crime.
[...] This is an extract from the speech Ted Nugent. He speaks in favor of GOA: Gun Owners of America. This is a organization which wants to preserve the right to bear arms because it is defended in the Second Amendment of the constitution. Their aim is to get more people in the organization in order to protect this right. He is blaming Bureaucrats and administration for taking American citizens' right away. There is also here the need to be safe by having a gun. [...]

To answer that, I chose 3 documents. The first one is a recording which deals with getting a gun in Colorado. [...]
[...] Indeed guns are part of the American culture so some people don't see their life without them. However there are limits about this form of power. In my opinion they first one is the easy” access to fire arms, which could lead to bloodshed or accidents like we've seen with the third document. In addition, there are different types of power with the gun lobbies and pro-gun lobbies. There is an impact on the political life because it undermines the Second Amendment of the Constitution. [...] One day, these two boys decided to take revenge on them. They shot students at point blank rage. Although some pleaded for their lives, they didn't hesitate to pull the trigger. It was a real bloodshed, leaving 13 dead people. This tragedy inspired scenarists like Michael Moore which made a film named “Bowling at columbine”. He acted as a whistle blower to denounce that gun ownership increase the number of death. This event shows that guns give people the power on human lives. That is insane and not safe. [...]
