The interaction between people of different languages and cultures has increased by the internalization and by the development of new communication medias. What are the consequences of this tendency? What are the risks? How to resolve its? I will attempt to respond to these questions through this essay. During our childhood, we learn how to behave to be accepted by our society. It's the socialization chapter. Our parents and educators teach us how to speak and to act, therefore, we consider these behaviors for 'universal' or 'verities'. Nevertheless, our schoolmasters teach us the different ways to interact in our society, the formal and informal language and the difference between friends and street codes and those of the parents, the professional setting, and adults. We have so many things to learn during our youth, that parents and teachers do not seem to think that cultural differences are of utmost importance. We will wait until to be confronted by another culture to understand that our verities are not universal verities. Is a language enough to communicate with foreigners? To communicate with the world, since our tender age, we learn foreigner languages. It is not easily done to speak another language than our mother tongue. Some languages are more intuitive for us and so easier to learn. For example, the Spanish apprenticeship is easier than the Chinese acquisition for French people. Some inhabitants are privileged in the apprenticeship of foreign languages. To begin early the learning, to have a hetero cultural family or to have an infrequent language is very advantageous. For instance, my thirteen old Serbian cousin speaks English better than me.
