Diversity, Facebook, Women's position
As I've said, in Facebook there are more men than women and it's more difficult for a woman to find a job in this company. But the company tries to deploy some strategies designed to balance its workplace. For example, the company is deploying a partnering with the National Center for Women & Information Technology.
In Facebook, there are also many problems between ethnic groups because there are 57 percent of white people and 34 percent of Asians one. So we can see that the company recruits mainly white people. Hélène Médina told me that she works only with white people…
We can see with Facebook's recent report on diversity, that the company is intent on showing its concern over diversity. Facebook know that the company has to do some progress and has to work harder against inequalities. In Facebook's report we can understand that the company wants to improve the diversity in the company. In fact, Facebook is a company that builds products to connect the world. And for this reason Facebook needs to have a very diverse team with different cultures.

Facebook is an online networking service and the company was founded on February 4,2004, by Mark Zuckerberg. In this company there are 69% for only of women. But we can hope thanks to Facebook's report that the situation will change. Hélène Médina remains pessimistic. For her it's very hard to change of recruitment policy and this take time Conclusion Despite the fact that there are gender inequalities and ethnic inequalities in Facebook's company, the online networking service wants to prove, through different efforts, that they will try to improve the percentage of women in the group's workforce.
