Ce document porte sur la notion d'idée de progrès pour le bac d'anglais de terminale. Il évoque notamment l'évolution de notre société grace à Internet et l'avenement des MOOCS (cours en ligne) et de leur bienfaits/limites. Il y egalement ) la fin du document toute la partie recherche que j'ai effectuée pour écrire integralement le document.

If we take the example of the arrival of internet and access to computers and smartphones it is easy to see to what extent our lives and our relationships with others have been completely transformed. On the one hand we have access to far more information than before, we can easily communicate across borders, buy new products, be informed about the latest news events, share our opinions about different topics but on the negative side many people have become addicted to social media and this creates new problems such as depression, isolation, bullying, cybercriminality . The idea of progress can be defined as an improvement, a development or a change like a technical, scientific or social advance which contributes to make the world a better place. In one hand we can say that progress is a steady (=constant) evolution towards a better quality of life but in another hand, progress is also accompanied by opposition because society isn't comfortable with the changes being made (same sex marriage for example).
