Ainsi, "my friend who lives in Detroit is a doctor" est une proposition déterminative, tandis que "my husband, who was born in detroit, is a doctor" est une proposition relative descriptive.
Par ailleurs, les pronoms relatifs peuvent être le sujet de la proposition relative : "the person who/that parked their car in front of the shop will be fined".
