Today, we are in the Age of Information (or Knowledge). It is virtually impossible not to encounter written pieces in our lives, unless you decide to spend your days in a remote place. Reading starts at a young age. Most children (sadly not all) are eager to learn to decipher the written language because they feel like they are growing up and mainly because they want autonomous access to their bedtime tales. [...] Someone with fueled imagination will solve problems more easily. Someone with stronger speech skills and more diverse vocabulary will convince greater audiences. But it also opens new doors to awareness. Reading is not limited to pure fiction, but it can make you change how you see the world through history, politics, human relations or science. Besides, reading is a soothing escape from our hectic world, as well as a powerful brain stimulator for the elderly. And it's a fantastic pastime: open a book and you'll never be bored while commuting. [...]
