The Statue of Liberty enlightening the world , exposé de 4 pages en anglais niveau lycée
It was Edouard de Laboulaye who inspired the idea of giving the US a statue representing Liberty and it was Bartholdi and Eiffel who designed and realised it. One of the stones used came from a small village in France: Euville dans la Meuse. In 1870 was built the first model on a small scale which can be seen on the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris.
