I would like to start this essay with a well-known fact that these days the whole world depends on oil. It is really hard to imagine what our life would be like without oil. Still, oil is not a renewable resource. One day our planet will face the problem when only a few countries will have an opportunity to consume oil that is Oil is the major source of energy worldwide and it is expected to remain so over the next few decades. As the technology is changing our environment nowadays, oil has done it in the 20's and 30's. Ever since, then crude oil has become the main material in every economy no matter it is a developed one or it is in the developing process. Today, the whole world is experiencing a serious oil crisis. The prices on oil sky-rocket almost every day. As a result, prices on energy carriers and fuel are increasing all over the world.

[...] The huge increase of the oil price has encouraged people to find alternatives to oil consumption. For instance, the United States consume nearly 700 million gallons of oil every day. But the US are producing more and more ethanol. And this fact has to negative effects: - On the one Hand the destruction of billions of tonnes of cereals meanwhile the world is alimentary crisis especially in Mexico ( a country that sells millions tonnes of cereals to the US) - On the other hand, the speeding-up of the deforestation process.
