I'm going to deal with the notion ‘Idea of Progress'. To begin, progress can be defined as an improvement, a development in any field of activity: science, technology, living conditions…
But progress can also have bad sides, and we are going to study one of them by now.
Climate change and ecological problems are one of the biggest issues nowadays. We are all destroying our planet, and if we don't change our habits by now, the consequences on the environment will be huge. We are going to see how far we can make our life more sustainable. [...] Conclusion To sum up, we saw here that climate change is one of the biggest issues of our century, but we also learned that there are solutions, actions we can take to make our life more sustainable. However, there are limits to these solutions: the constant search for power of the countries and climate change deniers are ruining all the efforts, people put in the fight. We can also wonder: can we promote economic growth and respect for the environment at the same time? [...]
