Is music important to you?

Every morning, we wake up with the wonderful melody coming from our alarm pushing us to get up. Several minutes later, we take a shower with the radio turned on. A little later in the school bus, we listen to music again, and while we walk, we listen to our iPod. During the class, one receives a text message and out comes the music. After school, a friend calls you to meet up, and there is music again from the phone.
Everywhere we go, we hear music: if you go to a hotel, there will be music playing, if you get in the elevator, there is music. The same phenomenon extends to car-parks, swimming pools, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Music is everywhere, and this shows its importance. In this essay, I will try and analyze the various reasons for music to be of interest to many, the benefits of listening to music and finally the effects it brings to our lives.

To conclude, we saw that listening to music was important because it's a way to escape from reality, it has positive effects on our mood and mind, and it is a way to feel understood, by listening to lyrics we can identify with. Then we saw that there were positive things in making music too: it's a way to express oneself, to denounce realities and to show that's we're good at something. [...]

[...] In a word, music is a way to be ME, a way to say how I feel, what I want, my dreams, Then, making music, writing lyrics is also a way to express my thoughts, what I think about our society, which is not always very positive It's a way to denounce things. In music, sarcastic thinks can be said nearly without negative reactions . But sometimes, unfortunately, people have prejudices about music For example, rap is being blamed for the murders and crimes in cities. [...]
