This document is a case study of the software application company, Skype. We begin by presenting a quick overview of the company in order to get a better understanding of the company and to get to know more about the background of the company.
The overview will help us gauge the direction of the company's growth.Subsequently, we will analyze the actual strategy of Skype,the countries where it is established, and the partnerships that the company has undertaken. I will combine my work experience with the company and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the company.
I will also try to highlight the threats and opportunities posed by the market towards the
company with the help of additional research.
By undertaking such an analysis, we will be able to build a new strategy, that is focused on a specific country and partnerships that will take the company's growth story forward. Finally, we conclude with a brief review of our work and highlight our new strategy as well.
