The ageing of the French population and the strong increase of old people has become a business prospect. In France, more than one million people are more than 85 years and this is expected to be doubled by 2020. My entrepreneurial project is to create an old people home business and develop my own company in different parts of France. I realized that in France, a senior citizen has to wait for a year before being accepted as a resident. There is an expectation for families who can't take care of their parents or grand parents. Moreover, people are ready to pay a lot for this service. The French health care system could not provide enough services owing to the bankrupty.
[...] My great grandmother were used to live aloane and did a cerebral vascular accident; staying two days on the floor of her house. Now she is in an old people home because she has irrevocable damages. When I saw her in this center, I felt really bad and thought that it was not a nice place to finish her life. Indeed, lots of old people homes in France are not satisfying. For instance, medical staff is not always well trained and old people suffered of that lack of knolwedge. Moreover, I could use the internet and data base such as Lexis Nexis to find out relevant studies and others elements which can help me to develop my project.
