It is essential to understand the concept of e-business models and the strategic process that encapsulates the global strategy, in order to be able to set up or use new efficient e-business tools. For the process to be as useful as possible, we have to determine how the value maximizing nature of today's customer fits within an e-business environment and what role search engines have in the e-business strategic process. In order to apply what we have learnt in the seminar, we are going to produce a research paper highlighting the way in which our topic choices might deliver a competitive advantage in an E-business context for the sporting agency Eventeam. Eventeam, was created in 2000 by Igor Juzon, and is one of the best references of sporting marketing in France. However it still has to develop its client portfolio. Eventeam is the inescapable actor of the management and the organization of customized public relations, during the biggest international sports meetings. On the strength of its know-how and the quality of its services, Eventeam stood out as a reference in the segment of sporting marketing, in the audit in sponsoring and communication by the sport and the media.

Our strategy should develop a flexible strategy thanks to technical expertise and the goals also have to be balanced at short, medium and long term. [...] If Eventeam is the first to do that in that positioning they will be easily differentiated from the competitors and we could say that even if they are imitated they will be able to do better evaluate the issue thanks to their advance. These tools are efficient ways of communication, much less expensive than advertising or mailing and are considered for the moment as being the better way to reach our specific target. I do not affirm that there are nothing else to promote Eventeam and increase its network but these tools have to be tested first to be sure we are going on the right way : total relooking of the website, new referencing, Viadeo and Google Adwords. Another point very important is the importance of the networks in the office businesses, workers listening to advice from others and word-to-mouth, especially in that kind of environment where everybody will privilege people they know. Here the main problem is the website which is not enough up dated, no accurate descriptive is done according to each event, the colour of the website is not the same as the current logo and it has to be renewed and adapted to the new graphics charts.
