Hello, today I am going to present you the notion Spaces and Exchanges. To begin, we need to define this notion. Space is a continuous area or expanse which is free or unoccupied. Exchange is an act of giving one thing and receiving another in return. Following the Age of discovery, exchange between countries increased rapidly. Among them, we could notice an immigration flow to the new lands. In the 19th century the world has seen a big wave of immigration.
For what reasons do people emigrate and what are the consequences of those immigrations?

This American Dream is a set of ideals in which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success. This dream was the main reason of the immigration. [...] This cartoon shows that American's are not aware of the role that these immigrants play in the country's wellbeing. In this way people immigrated to the United States in search of better living conditions. They were influenced by the American Dream who turns out to be just a Dream. Those people with low paying jobs contributed the most to the Country's development. Without them the United States would not have been the same. As we can see, those exchange leads to new opportunities. [...]
