The aim of this report is to introduce the concept of social networking thanks to the example of Facebook, and to see how this can have an influence on business strategies and more precisely on recruitment strategies. Organizations have indeed understood that information technology is starting to have an important impact and many of them are taking these changes into account and thinking about their impact in the recruitment and training processes (Herriot, 1989). Moreover for a few years now some companies have started using social networking websites to "find and better match candidates to open job positions - and build a talent pool" Therefore the goal will be to assess whether social networking websites, like Facebook, can play a relevant role in recruitment strategies and can modify them. In order to answer these questions, different objectives have been set and will have to be reached.
