McDonald's is a fast food company created in 1955 by Ray Kroc. It is now the largest chain of hamburger fast food. This company is working with the system of franchising which helped it to spread its restaurants all over the world in 119 countries. That means in every country of the planet except 72 like North Korea, Vietnam, Vatican, and most of central Africa countries...
We can also say that 68 million of customers are served daily employing 1,5 million people in more than 31000 restaurants. The company owes also other restaurants brands but we will not speak about them in this report. Financially speaking, it is also one of the most powerful companies with a net income in 2011 of $5503 million which is in constant evolution.
The golden arches are the most recognized symbol in the world. This internationalization puts McDonald's on the top of the most current multicultural companies worldwide.
[...] The hierarchy stay kindly the same whatever the country of the McDonald, still a manager and employees. But those are trained in a slight different way to react accurately to the cultural differences or the difference of restrictions in the country of the restaurant. For example the way to greet the customer or to thank him for his order, the way to give and receive order from superior is also different from one country to another. OTHER INTERNATIONAL ACTIONS OF THE COMPANY We are now going to see what McDonald's' international projects to help the world Environmental actions Since it was vilipend hardly for this non-respect of the environment in the 1970s, McDonald's try to make more and more efforts to reduce its wastes and its environmental footprint. Then there are the employees who are preparing the food and collecting the money from the sales. 7 Despite that the manager has a more powerful position in the company, he works as the employees and listen to them in case of problem. McDonald's corporate values also have as one of its pillars that's why McDonald's thinks that the training of the employees is very important especially through: The Hamburger University. [...]
[...] Then the training of their employees contains now an environmental training which is one of the core elements Charity McDonald's is active in the field of charity trough different process. First they build some 305 Ronald McDonald's Houses near international hospital. So the parents who had to travel far away to treat their child in a special hospital can stay near their ill child. Moreover the Ronald McDonald House Charities give each year money to fight cancer and other diseases. Each year the company organize an annual event called the McHappy Day. These days, a part of the profits of the company is going to charity. [...]
[...] CONCLUSION It is easy to say that McDonald's is a multicultural company. Firstly, seeing that they have restaurants in countries all over the world with different culture, religion, ideology, Secondly, through their adaptation in their leadership and training method as well as in their marketing campaign which are specifics to each country and furthermore sometimes different according to the area of the country. Finally, we can see that the culture is an important value in McDonald's as their different ecological and charity action are spread worldwide. [...]

MULTICULTURAL ASPECTS Multicultural aspect of McDonalds trough the Marketing strategies First of all McDonald´s is multicultural by the way the company uses multicultural marketing strategies. The company has to adapt the TV ads according to the majority and minority population in order to attract everybody in the fast food. In USA for example the TV ads and the menus in the restaurant do not forget the Black, Hispanic and Asian population which represent more than 50 percent of the population in some states. [...]
