Innovation capabilities refer to the ability to use resources to create innovation. Innovation strategy can be interpreted as a NPD (new product development) strategy for a more efficient way to bring ideas into successful products. Innovation for KOMPAN Commercial Services refers to innovating the sales channel.

Scope: The report take into consideration the entire organisation, but focuses on the "control centre" where strategy, innovation and decisions are taken and which is in Denmark.

To answer the 1st question and assess the current general innovation capabilities we look internally at the company's core competences, resources, strategy, culture and attitudes towards innovation (referring to mission, vision and values) and used innovation platform
