Becton Dickinson is the first company we have been introduced to, the presentation has been done by Jerôme Monnot, a French representative of the organization that moved to the US a while ago to work for Becton Dickinson. It was impressive for us to welcome him at the University, because all of us almost have the same project he had. We are French students, currently living and studying abroad and most of us want to stay abroad to find a job and create our professional career plan from this.
Jerome Monnot has an impressive curriculum. He graduated from a French business school as we are doing right now. He thus chose to pursue its studies with a Supply Chain Management specialization in the South of France by graduating with a Master. He found his first job among Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini, as a Manufacturing & Supply Chain consultant, for a year. Then he chose to work for Moulinex, which is a French household electrical company. He was asked to implement a new ERP system (Enterprise Resources Planning) for their 9 plants all over the country. He stayed in this company for less than a year, moving a lot due to Moulinex requirements and needs, he had to go to Caen or in Ireland to implement some new systems in the company's new plant.
