De nos jours, le développement durable ne cesse de prendre de l'ampleur car les entreprises réalisent progressivement les enjeux de telles politiques. Cependant, il est important de les guider au cours de ce processus qui peut être désastreux s'il n'est pas correctement mené. Il s'agit, la plupart du temps, de se focaliser en premier lieu sur les problèmes environnementaux, avant même de traiter les questions sociales qui ne sont généralement pas le souci principal des politiques de développement durable, bien qu'elles soient importantes. Quel est donc le rôle de la gestion des ressources humaines dans la mise en application d'une politique de développement durable ? Comment les entreprises peuvent-elles employer la gestion des ressources humaines pour améliorer leur stratégie de développement durable ? Quels sont les avantages de développer une gestion des ressources humaines soutenable ?
