Besides this strong movement, the studied decade has also seen the development of a solid trend towards job enrichment, empowerment and job satisfaction as a whole. The goal is to put people in a decisional position, a creative situation where they can invent, implement and engage on new solutions. This development addresses the same aim of using the human resources fully and meaningfully.
But are these two developments congruent? How compatible are these modern working patterns and practices with the aim of harnes sing the full
creativity of people? In a first part, we will look closer at these modern working patterns to agree on their definition and we will in our second part overview the major issues generated by these patterns and the influence they have on employees...
