Martin L.K. Was born in 1929 in Atlanta in United States of America and originally named
« Michael King Junior ». His father was the Reverend Martin Luther King Senior. After traveling in Germany, his father change his name to Martin in honor of the German Protestant leader Martin Luther.
In 1948, he has been graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and obtained a bachelor of Divinity in 1951. Then, he started doctoral studies in systematic theology and received a Doctor of Philosophy in 1955.
In 1953, he got married with Coretta Scott with whom he got 4 children: Yolanda King,
Martin Luther king II, Dexter Scott King and Bernice King.
One year later, he became pastor in Alabama.
He was activist and prominent leader in the « African-American civil rights movement ».
In 1957, he has been elected as president of the Southern Christian Leadership
Conference, an organization created to give new leaders to the Civil Rights Movement.
And today, he is often referenced as a human rights icon.

[...] The judgement: As it was a practice, Rosa Parks was judged as an offender and was condemned to pay 15 US dollars. However, a really strong movement was then born, linked to Rosa Parks arrest. People who were defending Civil Rights as Rosa did, decided to boycott the bus company until it stopped its segregationist practices. Martin Luther King was elected to manage the boycott campaign even if he was not famous yet. The ‘Black community', which represented 75% of the bus company clients, organized itself differently. The community prefered to walk or to take taxis. [...]
