Tourism business
Tourism of business represents a true opportunity which the professionals of this sector want to exploit. A tendency which leads them to multiply the services and infrastructures dedicated to the companies, contributing to make France a genuine destination for business trips.
The market of business trip, (estimated at approximately 23 billion euros) has metamorphosed in France these last years, under the combined effect of the crisis and globalization: the globalized companies regulated their expenditure and launched tenders at the national and even international level. That pushed the French offer to become structured, while specializing, while investing heavily in new technologies, and by seeking alliances on a global level.
The direct and indirect economic consequences of the conventions, meetings, trade fairs and seminars, essential components of tourism of business, are estimated at more than 8.5 billion euros.
[...] The tendency is now more with the adaptation of the structures, which requires various restorations or extension of the existing buildings, that to construction of mass. In addition, the activity of the centers of congress evolves, some becoming of the true service firms, calling upon internal and external competences. PROFESSIONALS WITH THE SERVICE OF THE ORGANIZATION Parallel to the services suggested by the Centers of the Congresses and the hotels, various organizations propose to accompany the companies in the organization by their demonstrations. The Tourist offices remain thus often requested infrastructures. Several hundreds of them have an allocated budget besides with tourism of business. [...]
