We, the Salvation Army as an evangelical part of the Christian church, are among the largest providers of social aid in the world by following the objectives of "the advancement of the Christian religion of education, the relief of poverty, and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole" (Salvation Army, 2012). Thus, some of the following insights might also be of importance to be forwarded and recommended to general Linda Bond, being responsible to manage the global strategy of the Salvation Army. She is challenged to serve in this complex world without losing the focus on our mission. Considering this, some insights and recommendations from you, as head of a territorial headquarter, might give here important insights in making decisions, giving an overall direction by directing our operations and ensuring the internationalism of the Salvation Army.
