The AMR Corporation is an American commercial aviation business, with headquarters located in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. This corporation was formed in 1982, with the reorganization of American Airlines Company. The AMR Corporation is regrouping a lot of subsidiaries, almost all in the commercial aviation market. These subsidiaries are, for the most part, known. They include American Airlines, American eagle, and some other smaller regional companies all over the United States. However all these companies, mainly American airlines, started their operation in the beginning of airline history. Moreover, American Airlines, and through them AMR Corporation, is considered as a pioneer in innovation in the commercial airlines market in the United States.
