The world is looking for innovation, notably in the organization of work. Teleworking aka telecommuting, which associates data-processing, telecommunication and new organization of work, was an important innovation in the eighties. Working remotely means working from a distance through the use of telecommunication technologies. Today, the opportunities generated by teleworking can be found in several fields of activity. [...] But sometimes teleworkers have to cope with some unexpected problems which may backfire them. Even though we benefit now a very rapide connection of internet, we still lack of immediate and real time assistance. Workers can not answer spontaneously and can not take part in entire enterprise life. Working remotely at home means you work alone so we may feel of being lonely not to say isolated. Loss of social interraction is demotivating and can be depressing. We also need interaction, brainstorming although this may wast time but need to reactive our thoughts. [...]
[...] Anyway teleworking has to be applied in the right circumstances and in the right way. This shows the changing of mind and behaviour of society towards the notion of work. Working at home must not be an issue that is sensible to be completely for or completely against but it is indisputably central to future opportunities for a sustainable economy and need now to be extended. The technology of teleworking is relatively easy; the management of it will be much more difficult, felxibility very well but it depends mainly on the will and the discipline of workers and managers.
