For the last few years, the sector of information systems has been in a process of change thanks to computers. This evolution is taking place on the methodological level as well as the plan of technologies and material architectures. Sources of information are diversified and can be internal or external to the firm. The intensity of flows of information depends on the geographic origin (local, regional, national, community or international) and on the structure of the company, the strategy and the size. It can also depend of the category of the industry. Nowadays, it seems essential that managers have a good understanding of information systems because most of the current organizations need it to survive and thrive.
